Burnout Isn’t a Badge of Honor—It’s a Warning

I was doing it all—holding space for clients, managing a household, showing up for my kids, working through sleepless nights—and still trying to “succeed.”
I thought exhaustion was just part of being driven. I thought overwhelm was normal. I thought rest was something you had to earn.
But burnout isn’t a measure of your dedication. It’s a sign your body and soul are asking you to stop.
As a therapist, I understand what happens when you ignore those signs: resentment builds, health suffers, and joy starts to fade from the very things you used to love.
When I hit that point myself, I didn’t need another productivity hack. I needed to slow down. To listen.
To unlearn the hustle.
To rebuild from a place of peace.
And that’s what I did—one aligned step at a time.
Burnout doesn’t mean you’re broken. It means something is misaligned. And it’s never too late to choose differently.
Here is how I re-aligned, reflected, and gained clarity on my brand and what my purpose is each day that I show up to continue building. Check it out here...
